Job Description

The Laundry Manager oversees hotel laundry operations, including linen, uniforms, guest laundry, equipment, supplies, quality control, and staff scheduling. Candidates are generally expected to have several years of laundry or housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort, with supervisory or managerial responsibility. Strong knowledge of washing processes, stain removal, textile care, hygiene standards, inventory control, and workplace safety is important. The role requires leadership, organization, attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments. Candidates should be comfortable training employees, controlling operating costs, maintaining service standards, and ensuring timely delivery of clean linen and garments.
