Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality opportunities on islands and coastal destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Chang, especially in luxury resorts, restaurants, spas and tourism businesses. Thai culture values politeness, respect, family, community and calm communication; learning basic Thai is helpful. Island life is relaxed and scenic, with beaches, outdoor activities and a strong expat community, but living costs, transport and healthcare access can vary considerably by location. Resort work may include staff meals, accommodation, transport and service charge, so these benefits should be confirmed before accepting an offer. Foreign employees generally need an appropriate Non-Immigrant B visa and a work permit arranged with employer support before legally working. Candidates should prepare passports, qualifications, references and medical documents, and verify contract terms, accommodation, insurance and visa responsibilities before relocating.
