Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with major hospitality opportunities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and coastal resort areas. Jobs are available in hotels, restaurants, tourism, aviation, retail, events, marketing, and business services. The culture combines Islamic traditions, Emirati heritage, and a highly international expatriate community; respectful dress and behaviour are expected, especially during Ramadan. Lifestyle is modern and convenient, with excellent shopping, dining, beaches, healthcare, and transport, although summers are extremely hot. Employer-sponsored work visas are standard, and the employer usually arranges entry permits, medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and residency formalities. UAE nationals applying through Emiratisation programs may receive additional career-development support. Relocating employees should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, annual leave, flights, and other benefits before accepting an offer.
