Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest hospitality job markets. Opportunities are available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, events, tourism, aviation, retail, and business services. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international population; modest dress and respect for local customs are appreciated. Lifestyle options range from beaches, shopping, and desert activities to cultural attractions and lively dining scenes. Employers usually sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical checks, and Emirates ID processing, although benefits vary by contract. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, health insurance, annual leave, flights, and probation terms before accepting an offer. UAE nationals may receive additional opportunities through Emiratization programs. Living costs, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, can be high, so comparing salary with accommodation and commuting expenses is important.
