Job Description

The Laundry Manager oversees hotel laundry operations, including linen, uniform and guest-laundry processing, staffing, quality control, inventory, equipment use and hygiene standards. Candidates typically need several years of hotel laundry or housekeeping experience, supervisory or managerial experience, strong knowledge of commercial laundry procedures, chemical handling, workplace safety and cost control. Familiarity with laundry equipment maintenance, scheduling, productivity monitoring and hospitality service standards is expected. The successful candidate should be organized, hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable leading a multicultural team. Good communication, problem-solving ability and basic computer skills are important. Experience with a luxury hotel or international hospitality brand is advantageous.
