Job Description

The Service Associate – Finance (General Accounting) supports daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, preparing reconciliations, processing journal entries, maintaining financial records, and assisting with month-end reporting. Candidates are generally expected to have a degree or diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, along with sound knowledge of accounting principles and computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Previous hotel or shared-services experience is an advantage. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, organization, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude are important in supporting internal departments and maintaining Shangri-La’s financial standards.
