Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Finance Risk Control supports the hotel’s financial control framework, internal audits, risk assessments, budgeting, reporting and compliance procedures. Candidates typically need a degree in accounting, finance or a related field, with relevant hotel or commercial finance experience. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent are advantageous. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls and financial systems, as well as sound analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Shangri-La would expect a detail-oriented, ethical and independent professional who can work with department heads, identify control weaknesses, recommend improvements and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
