Front Office Executive

Job Description

The Front Office Executive welcomes guests, manages check-in and check-out, handles reservations and guest requests, processes payments, and coordinates with housekeeping and other hotel departments. Candidates are generally expected to have a diploma or certificate in hospitality, tourism, or a related field, along with relevant hotel or customer-service experience. Strong communication skills, a professional appearance, computer literacy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are important. Familiarity with hotel property-management systems is advantageous. The role requires shift work, including weekends and public holidays, and the successful candidate should be friendly, attentive, well organised, and committed to Shangri-La’s service standards.
