Founded in 1835, the bank provides retail and commercial banking, institutional banking, payments, lending, wealth, and financial markets services. ANZ employs thousands of people and operates in a highly regulated environment where risk management, responsible banking, digital innovation, and customer protection are central priorities. Destination Guide

Australia offers opportunities in banking, financial services, technology, healthcare, engineering, education, construction, and professional services, with Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Canberra as major employment hubs. Workplace culture is generally practical, collaborative, relatively informal, and focused on accountability, inclusion, and work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy city living to coastal, regional, and outdoor-oriented communities; beaches, national parks, sport, and multicultural dining are major attractions. Skilled professionals may explore employer-sponsored visas, the Skilled Independent visa, or state and territory nomination pathways, subject to occupation lists, qualifications, English ability, age, and experience. Relocating usually requires budgeting for housing, healthcare, transport, and initial settlement costs, especially in Sydney. Applicants should verify current visa rules through the Australian Department of Home Affairs and confirm whether the employer provides sponsorship or relocation assistance.
