Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to build and improve CloudWatch Collectors, services that gather and process monitoring data for AWS customers. The role typically requires professional software development experience, proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and cloud technologies. Candidates should be comfortable designing, implementing, testing, and operating reliable production software. Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other engineers and stakeholders are expected.
