Job Description

The Network Development Engineer designs, builds and operates reliable, scalable network infrastructure supporting Amazon Web Services. Requirements typically include a degree or equivalent experience in networking, computer science or a related field; strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, routing, switching, DNS and network troubleshooting; and practical scripting or software development skills, often using Python. Experience with automation, Linux, large-scale data-centre networks and cloud environments is valuable. Candidates are expected to improve network availability, automate operational processes, investigate complex incidents, document solutions and collaborate with software, systems and operations teams. The role also requires strong communication, analytical thinking, ownership and willingness to participate in on-call support.
