Destination Guide

Spain’s islands, including Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera, the Canary Islands, and smaller island groups, offer opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, aviation, wellness, marine activities, and property services. Seasonal hospitality work is especially common from spring through autumn, with the strongest demand in luxury resorts and coastal destinations. Island culture blends Spanish traditions with local languages, relaxed social life, outdoor dining, festivals, and a strong connection to the sea. Lifestyle advantages include beaches, hiking, water sports, and mild weather, although summer housing can be expensive and limited. EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens can generally work with local registration requirements. Non-EU nationals usually need an appropriate work or internship visa arranged before arrival. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, and visa conditions with the employer.
