Destination Guide

Spain’s islands, including Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria, offer seasonal opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, wellness, watersports, and customer service. Mallorca has a strong luxury-resort market, with many positions concentrated between spring and autumn. Island culture blends Spanish traditions with Mediterranean food, festivals, outdoor living, and a relaxed social style; Spanish is useful, while English and German are widely valued in tourism. Lifestyle is attractive for people who enjoy beaches, hiking, cycling, warm weather, and community life, although housing can be expensive and seasonal rentals are competitive. EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens can work in Spain with standard registration requirements. Non-EU applicants normally need an appropriate work authorization or visa arranged with employer support, and internships may require specific educational documentation. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, salary, and visa terms before relocating.
