Spain’s islands, including Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera, Tenerife and Gran Canaria, offer opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, transport, wellness and events. Mallorca has a particularly strong luxury-hospitality market, with seasonal recruitment increasing before spring and summer. Island culture combines Spanish traditions with Mediterranean food, local festivals, outdoor living and a relaxed social atmosphere. Lifestyle benefits include beaches, hiking, sailing and a mild climate, although summer work can be busy and accommodation costs may be high. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens generally do not need a work visa but must complete registration requirements for longer stays. Non-EU nationals need appropriate work authorization or an approved internship arrangement before starting employment. Candidates should confirm whether the employer provides accommodation, meals, transport or relocation assistance. A valid passport, health coverage, proof of funds and translated documents may be required. Mallorca is well connected by air and ferry, but remote resort locations may require a car or local bus.
