Destination Guide

Spain’s islands offer varied hospitality opportunities, especially in hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, events, wellness, and water-based activities. Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, and the Canary Islands have strong seasonal employment markets, with the busiest period generally running from spring through autumn. Island culture combines Mediterranean food, outdoor living, local festivals, relaxed social traditions, and respect for family and community. Lifestyle benefits include beaches, hiking, sailing, warm weather, and an international environment, although seasonal housing can be expensive and limited. EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens can usually work in Spain without a visa, subject to registration requirements. Non-EU applicants generally need an appropriate internship, study, or work authorization arranged before arrival. Candidates should confirm accommodation, pay, insurance, transport, contract terms, and visa support directly with the employer before relocating.
