Destination Guide

Spain’s islands, including Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria, offer strong opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism sales, events, wellness, and guest services. Mallorca has a particularly active luxury and seasonal hospitality market, with work concentrated from spring through autumn. Island life combines Mediterranean food, outdoor activities, beaches, village traditions, and a relaxed social culture, although peak season can be busy and accommodation expensive. EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens generally may work without a visa, subject to registration requirements. Non-EU applicants usually need an appropriate internship, study, or work authorization arranged before arrival; requirements depend on nationality and the placement structure. Candidates should confirm whether accommodation, meals, insurance, transport, and visa support are included. Reliable budgeting, early housing searches, and basic Spanish are recommended, while English is widely used in international resorts.
