Job Description

The Strategic Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing customer relationships and expanding FedEx Logistics services across Australia and the wider AMEA region. Requirements typically include relevant experience in business development, freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain or international trade; strong commercial judgement; proven sales and negotiation skills; and the ability to manage a pipeline and deliver revenue targets. The candidate is expected to understand customer supply-chain needs, prepare proposals, collaborate with operations and account teams, maintain accurate sales forecasts and represent the company professionally. Strong communication, presentation, analytical and relationship-management skills are important, along with the ability to work independently in a competitive market.
