Job Description

The Clearance Representative supports customs clearance for imported and exported shipments. Typical requirements include experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related administrative role; knowledge of Australian import and export regulations; strong attention to detail; accurate data-entry skills; and confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office. The candidate is expected to review shipment documentation, prepare and submit clearance information, communicate with customs authorities and customers, resolve documentation issues, monitor shipments, and meet service and compliance deadlines. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused approach are important. Knowledge of customs software and relevant Australian border requirements would be advantageous.
