Destination Guide

Australia offers opportunities in logistics, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, warehousing, aviation, healthcare, construction, technology and professional services. Major employment hubs include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, with logistics roles also available near airports, ports and distribution centres. Australian workplace culture is generally practical, collaborative and respectful of work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy city living to coastal, regional and outdoor-focused communities, with relatively high living costs in major cities. Most overseas workers need an appropriate visa, such as an employer-sponsored, skilled, graduate or working holiday visa; eligibility depends on occupation, qualifications, age and experience. Relocating usually requires securing work rights, arranging accommodation, budgeting for transport and healthcare, and checking customs or licensing requirements. Australia is geographically large, so location and commuting options should be considered carefully.
