Job Description

The Director of MICE leads Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events business for Minor Hotels in Australia and New Zealand. The role typically requires strong experience in hotel sales, event management or business development, along with a proven record of winning corporate and group business. Candidates should understand the MICE market, maintain relationships with agencies and corporate clients, prepare commercial strategies, manage budgets and negotiate contracts. Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills are essential, together with the ability to work across multiple hotels and travel when required. The successful candidate is expected to achieve revenue targets, grow the company’s event pipeline, represent the brand professionally and collaborate closely with operations, revenue, marketing and hotel leadership teams.
