Housekeeping Assistant / Supervisor

Job Description

This role supports the housekeeping department by cleaning and inspecting guest rooms, public areas and facilities, replenishing amenities, reporting maintenance issues and helping coordinate daily room allocations. As a supervisor, the candidate may assist with team leadership, quality checks, training, stock control and ensuring health, safety and hotel cleanliness standards are maintained. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience, strong attention to detail, physical fitness and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure are expected. Good communication, reliability, a positive attitude and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varying shifts are important. Experience supervising staff and knowledge of relevant workplace safety procedures would be advantageous.
