Lifestyle varies from busy cities to relaxed coastal and regional communities; Ipswich offers a lower-cost alternative to Brisbane, with access to parks, heritage areas and outdoor activities. Rent, transport and groceries can be expensive, especially in major cities, so budgeting is important. Temporary workers may use Working Holiday visas if eligible, while employer-sponsored, skilled and student visas provide other pathways.
