Job Description

This role supports finance activities at an Astellas manufacturing site, partnering with plant leadership and operations teams on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, management reporting, and financial analysis. Candidates are expected to have experience in accounting, controlling, financial planning, or business partnering, ideally within manufacturing or the pharmaceutical industry. Strong Excel and financial systems skills, attention to detail, business judgment, and the ability to explain financial information clearly are important. Japanese and English communication skills may be required for collaboration with local and global stakeholders. The successful candidate should be proactive, commercially minded, compliant with company policies, and comfortable challenging assumptions while supporting sound operational and investment decisions.
