Job Description

The Engineer/Senior Engineer is responsible for maintaining hotel facilities, building systems, equipment and guest areas in safe, reliable working condition. Duties typically include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning and related systems, responding to guest or operational requests, and maintaining service records. Candidates should have a relevant technical qualification, practical experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance, sound knowledge of engineering systems, and the ability to work independently or within a team. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, service quality and Shangri-La standards. Shift work, weekends, public holidays and emergency call-outs may be required.
