Job Description

The Senior Events Manager is responsible for planning, selling and delivering conferences, weddings, banquets and other events for Shangri-La in the Philippines. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in hospitality, business or a related field, several years of experience in hotel event management, strong knowledge of banquet operations, budgeting and sales, and excellent English communication skills. The successful candidate is expected to manage client relationships, prepare proposals and contracts, coordinate with culinary and operational teams, monitor event quality, meet revenue targets and resolve issues professionally. Flexibility, leadership, attention to detail, commercial awareness and the ability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays are essential.
