Destination Guide

Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city-state with strong opportunities in hotels, tourism, food and beverage, finance, technology, healthcare and logistics. Hospitality employees benefit from an international working environment and a multicultural population, with English widely used in business and daily life. The lifestyle is safe, efficient and convenient, with excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping, parks and easy access to regional destinations. Living costs are relatively high, especially rent, so candidates should compare accommodation and benefits carefully. Foreign employees generally need employer-sponsored permission to work, such as an Employment Pass or S Pass, with eligibility depending on salary, qualifications and current government criteria. The employer normally submits the application. Before relocating, arrange valid travel documents, housing, insurance and a local bank account, and check official Singapore Ministry of Manpower requirements for the latest rules.
