Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, with extensive coastal areas and resort destinations. Opportunities are strong in hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, technology, finance, healthcare, and marketing, especially for candidates with relevant qualifications and digital skills. UAE culture combines Islamic traditions, Emirati heritage, and a highly international business environment. Lifestyle varies from modern city living and beaches to desert activities and quieter residential communities. Summers are extremely hot, while the cooler months are ideal for outdoor activities. Most expatriates need employer-sponsored residence and work visas; Emirati citizens benefit from national employment initiatives such as Emiratisation. Employers commonly assist with visa processing, medical checks, Emirates ID applications, and sometimes accommodation or travel benefits. Before relocating, candidates should confirm salary, insurance, housing, contract terms, and probation conditions.
