Destination Guide

The UAE is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the greatest number of hospitality, events, sales and tourism opportunities. The country has a modern, international lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, safe cities, warm weather and a diverse expatriate community. Local culture values hospitality, family, modesty and respect for Islamic customs; business relationships are often built through personal contact and professional networking. Popular leisure activities include beaches, desert excursions, shopping, dining and cultural attractions. Most expatriate employees work under an employer-sponsored residence visa, which normally includes medical checks, Emirates ID registration and a work permit. Employers may provide accommodation or a housing allowance, health insurance, transport and annual flights, depending on the package. Candidates should confirm the basic salary, service charge, commission, accommodation, working hours and relocation support before accepting an offer.
