Job Description

The Stewarding (Dishwasher) is responsible for washing and sanitising crockery, glassware, cutlery, cookware and kitchen equipment, while keeping stewarding areas clean and organised. Requirements generally include a willingness to work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen, good physical stamina, attention to hygiene and safety procedures, and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Previous experience in hotel, restaurant or commercial kitchen stewarding is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to be reliable, cooperative, punctual and comfortable working as part of a multicultural team. They should follow instructions carefully, handle cleaning chemicals safely and maintain Shangri-La's standards of cleanliness and service support.
