Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality, tourism, retail, marine recreation, events, and corporate sales opportunities, especially in Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, and other resort areas. Langkawi is known for beaches, island tours, a relaxed lifestyle, and a strong resort employment market. Penang combines historic culture, excellent food, urban conveniences, and nearby beaches, while Sabah provides access to diving, nature, and adventure tourism. Malaysian culture is diverse, blending Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Indigenous traditions; English is widely used in hotels and business settings. Living costs vary, with resort islands often more expensive for housing and transport. Foreign nationals generally need an employer-sponsored employment pass, and the company normally handles the application. Candidates should confirm visa eligibility, accommodation, healthcare, transport, and tax arrangements before relocating.
