Service Associate - Reservations Executive

Job Description

The Service Associate – Reservations Executive is responsible for handling hotel room reservations through telephone, email, online channels and travel partners. Requirements typically include previous hotel reservations, front-office or customer-service experience, strong English communication skills, accurate computer and administrative abilities, and familiarity with hotel reservation systems. Additional languages and knowledge of Singapore’s hospitality market are advantageous. The candidate is expected to respond promptly and courteously, explain room types, rates and policies, manage amendments and cancellations, maintain accurate records, support revenue objectives and coordinate effectively with Front Office, Sales and other departments. A professional appearance, attention to detail, flexibility for shift work and a genuine commitment to Shangri-La’s service standards are important.
