Job Description

The Demi Chef de Partie supports the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen team in preparing and presenting food to Shangri-La standards. Typical requirements include culinary training, relevant hotel or restaurant kitchen experience, knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and HACCP practices, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The successful candidate is expected to maintain consistent quality, follow recipes and portion standards, keep the workstation clean, control waste, and cooperate closely with colleagues across the kitchen. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential. Good communication, a positive attitude, discipline and willingness to learn are important, while Cantonese or English skills may be advantageous in Hong Kong.
