Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah, with extensive coastlines and resort destinations. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, events, construction, healthcare, and technology provide many employment opportunities. The culture combines Islamic traditions with a highly international population; modest dress and respectful behaviour are expected in public and workplaces. Lifestyle options range from beaches, desert activities, shopping, dining, and nightlife to museums and cultural sites. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are pleasant. Employers normally sponsor work visas, arrange medical checks, and may provide accommodation or allowances, transport, insurance, and flights. Candidates should confirm the full package, contract, working hours, and recruitment fees before relocating. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are convenient but expensive, while other emirates may offer lower living costs.
