Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf federation rather than an island, made up of seven emirates, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It offers substantial opportunities in hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, finance, technology, and healthcare. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international population; modest dress, respect for Islam, and professional courtesy are important. Lifestyle options range from beaches, desert excursions, and shopping to major cultural and sporting events. The climate is hot for much of the year, with milder winters. Most expatriates need employer-sponsored residence and work visas, normally arranged after an employment offer and medical screening. UAE nationals applying through Emiratisation programs follow local eligibility requirements. Relocating employees should confirm accommodation, transport, health insurance, probation terms, and end-of-service benefits before accepting an offer.
