Senior/Technical Officer

Job Description

The Senior/Technical Officer supports the hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations, helping keep building systems, guest rooms, equipment and facilities safe and fully operational. Requirements typically include a technical certificate or diploma in electrical, mechanical, building services or a related field, along with relevant hotel, commercial-property or facilities experience. The candidate should understand preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, basic health and safety procedures, and contractor coordination. Practical skills, reliability and the ability to respond to maintenance issues quickly are essential. The role also requires good communication, teamwork, attention to detail and flexibility to work shifts, weekends or public holidays when necessary. Experience with fire protection, HVAC, plumbing or building-management systems would be advantageous.
