Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager (MICE) is responsible for generating and managing meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions business for Shangri-La in Indonesia. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in hospitality, tourism, business or a related field, along with several years of hotel sales experience and a strong MICE network. The successful candidate should understand corporate and group travel markets, be confident negotiating contracts, preparing proposals and meeting revenue targets, and have excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English is generally expected; Indonesian language and local market knowledge are valuable. The role requires client visits, event coordination, teamwork, commercial awareness and the ability to work flexible hours when major events are taking place.
