Chef De Partie (Pastry)

Job Description

The Chef de Partie (Pastry) supports the pastry kitchen by preparing and presenting desserts, pastries, breads and other baked products to Shangri-La’s quality standards. Candidates should have formal culinary or pastry training and relevant experience in a hotel, resort, bakery or fine-dining environment. The role requires strong knowledge of pastry techniques, food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures. The successful candidate should be creative, organised, reliable and able to work efficiently under pressure, including weekends, evenings and public holidays. Good teamwork, attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent taste, texture and presentation are essential. Experience in a luxury hotel and knowledge of international pastry styles would be advantageous.
