Destination Guide

The Philippines offers lifeguard and hospitality opportunities in resort destinations such as Boracay, Cebu, Palawan, Bohol, Davao, and Siargao, as well as in Manila and other cities. Work is commonly available in hotels, beach resorts, water parks, clubs, and private facilities. Filipino culture is friendly, family-oriented, and community-minded, with English widely used in tourism. Island life can offer warm weather, beaches, outdoor activities, and a relaxed pace, but transport, healthcare, internet, and supplies may be less convenient outside major towns. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa before starting employment; requirements depend on nationality and contract. Candidates should confirm accommodation, meals, transportation, medical coverage, certification recognition, and contract terms before relocating. Local lifeguard, first-aid, and CPR credentials may be requested.
