Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, and other resort destinations, with work available in hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, and guest services. Penang combines heritage streets, beaches, diverse food, and a relaxed urban lifestyle, while Langkawi offers a quieter island setting focused on resorts, nature, and water activities. Malaysian culture is multicultural, with Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous influences reflected in food, festivals, language, and daily life. Living costs vary, with resort islands sometimes having higher rental and transport expenses. Foreign nationals generally need an employer-sponsored Employment Pass or another approved work permit before starting employment. The employer normally manages the application, and approval depends on salary, qualifications, and immigration rules. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, medical coverage, contract terms, and visa sponsorship before relocating.
