Air Freight Specialist

Job Description

The Air Freight Specialist supports the end-to-end movement of international air shipments, including booking cargo, preparing and checking documentation, coordinating with airlines, customs brokers and customers, tracking consignments, and resolving service issues. Candidates typically need experience in air freight forwarding or international logistics, knowledge of customs and export procedures, strong attention to detail, and good written and verbal communication. Familiarity with freight-management systems, shipment documentation and Microsoft Office is expected. DHL will look for a customer-focused, organised and dependable person who can manage deadlines, work accurately in a busy environment, collaborate across teams and follow safety, security and compliance requirements.
