Job Description

The Rigger is responsible for safely preparing, attaching, lifting, moving and positioning heavy equipment, structural components and materials on construction, maintenance or industrial sites. Requirements typically include relevant rigging qualifications and licences, such as a High Risk Work Licence, proven experience with cranes and lifting gear, knowledge of load calculations and Australian safety standards, and the ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol screening. Candidates are expected to interpret lift plans, inspect equipment, follow site procedures, communicate clearly with crane operators and supervisors, and work effectively in physically demanding environments. Flexibility for remote work, rostered shifts, travel and overtime may also be required.
