Job Description

UGL’s Senior Estimator – Electrical role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, tenders and budgets for electrical infrastructure, energy, rail, resources or industrial projects. Candidates are expected to have substantial electrical estimating experience, strong knowledge of construction methods, labour, materials and subcontractor pricing, and the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and contracts. Experience with estimating software, Excel and tender management is typically required. The successful candidate should communicate confidently with project teams, clients and suppliers, assess commercial risks, meet deadlines and contribute to competitive, commercially sound bids. Relevant electrical, engineering, construction or project management qualifications are advantageous, along with Australian industry experience and a strong focus on safety, quality and integrity.
