E&I QAQC Inspector

Job Description

The E&I QAQC Inspector is responsible for inspecting electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, and commissioning activities on major infrastructure or industrial projects. Requirements typically include relevant electrical, instrumentation, or engineering qualifications, demonstrated QA/QC experience, knowledge of Australian standards and project specifications, and familiarity with inspection and test plans, hold points, test records, and non-conformance reporting. The successful candidate is expected to interpret drawings, verify workmanship and materials, maintain accurate quality documentation, coordinate with contractors and project teams, and promote a strong safety culture. Experience in construction, energy, rail, utilities, or resources projects is advantageous. Site-based, remote, or rostered work may be required.
