Mechanical Fitter

Australia UGL Approximately AUD $95,000–$140,000 per year, including allowances and overtime; equivalent base rates may be around AUD $45–$65 per hour.*
Job Description

The Mechanical Fitter role typically requires a relevant mechanical trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, and experience maintaining, repairing and installing industrial equipment. Candidates should be able to read technical drawings, use hand and precision tools, diagnose mechanical faults and follow safe work procedures. Experience in mining, rail, energy, manufacturing or major infrastructure projects is advantageous. A current Australian work right, relevant licences, medical clearance and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screening may be required. UGL expects reliable, safety-focused team members who can work independently, meet project deadlines and adapt to shift work, remote locations or FIFO arrangements where applicable.
