Job Description

The Service Technician – Mechanical role typically involves inspecting, servicing, repairing and commissioning mechanical equipment and systems at customer or project sites. Candidates are generally expected to hold a relevant mechanical trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, and have practical experience with rotating equipment, pumps, hydraulics, machinery or industrial maintenance. Strong fault-finding, preventative maintenance and reading of technical drawings are important. The role requires a commitment to safety, quality procedures and accurate service reporting. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and within a team, travelling to sites, communicating professionally with clients and working flexible hours when required. A current Australian driver’s licence and relevant site tickets may also be required.
