Safety Advisor - Cross River Rail

Job Description

The Safety Advisor will support safe delivery of the Cross River Rail project by conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, investigating incidents, assisting with risk assessments, and promoting compliance with legislation, project procedures and CPB Contractors’ safety systems. Candidates are generally expected to hold a relevant safety qualification, such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety, with experience in major construction, tunnelling, rail or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of Australian WHS requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors and project teams are essential. The role requires a practical, proactive approach, accurate reporting, and a visible commitment to building a positive safety culture in a demanding site environment.
