Job Description

The Senior Component Buyer is responsible for sourcing aircraft components, negotiating supplier agreements, managing purchasing activity and supporting reliable, cost-effective airline operations. The role typically requires substantial procurement experience, preferably within aviation, aerospace, engineering or another highly regulated industry. Candidates should understand supply-chain processes, contract negotiation, supplier performance, inventory considerations and commercial risk. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, along with the ability to work with engineering, maintenance, finance and operations teams. Experience with procurement systems, aviation regulations and component supply markets would be advantageous.
