E190 Training and Checking Captain

Job Description

The E190 Training and Checking Captain is responsible for delivering flight training, simulator instruction, line checks and competency assessments for E190 flight crew. Applicants would generally need an Australian ATPL, current E190 type rating and relevant command experience, along with CASA medical and licence requirements. Previous training, checking or examining experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate sound aeronautical knowledge, excellent communication, strong leadership and consistent safety judgement. They must maintain high professional standards, support operational compliance and provide constructive feedback to pilots. The role may involve rostered flying, simulator sessions, travel and working flexibly across Network Aviation and Qantas Group operations.
