Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers opportunities in logistics, transport, warehousing, healthcare, technology, construction, finance, hospitality and professional services. Major employment centres include London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol and Belfast. British culture is diverse and generally values punctuality, privacy, politeness and clear communication. Lifestyle ranges from busy city living to quieter rural and coastal communities, with extensive public transport, historic towns, countryside and cultural attractions. Living costs are highest in London and the South East, while many northern regions, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are more affordable. Visa requirements depend on nationality and job; many overseas workers need employer sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, although some delivery-driver roles may not qualify. Check current UK government rules before accepting an offer. Relocating usually requires permission to work, suitable housing, a National Insurance number and access to banking and healthcare.
