Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers opportunities in delivery, logistics, warehousing, transport, healthcare, technology, construction, hospitality and professional services. Its culture combines traditional local communities with diverse international cities, and workplaces generally value punctuality, clear communication and respect for personal privacy. Lifestyle options range from busy urban living in London, Manchester or Birmingham to quieter coastal and rural areas. Housing and transport costs vary considerably, with London and the southeast usually most expensive. Irish citizens can generally live and work in the UK under the Common Travel Area. Most other nationals need an appropriate visa before starting work; employer sponsorship is required for eligible sponsored roles, while visitor status does not permit employment. Check current requirements through GOV.UK, and budget for accommodation deposits, transport, healthcare-related charges where applicable and initial living expenses before relocating.
